In the fall of 1990, a rock band formed by the name of Pearl Jam and asked Ames Bros (still in high school) to design their first official tour shirt. A lot has happened since then, but the Ames Bros are still designing Pearl Jam’s Tour Shirts…And, over the years, everything in between from tube socks to award-winning album art. Undoubtedly their most popular collaboration has come in the form of their collectable screen-printed show posters. Pieces of art, for shows from Istanbul to Fargo, North Dakota, are celebrated in their new book “Pearl Jam vs Ames Bros: 13 Years of Tour Posters”.
